Lee Young Ah (Hangul: 이영아; also spelled Yi Yeong Ah) is a South Korean actress and model. She is best known for playing the role of Nguyen Jin Joo from Golden Bride,[2] a 2008 drama that extended 14 episodes due to its popularity and is in Top 5 of Korean Dramas of the Year 2008 in Nielson Ratings and Top 7 in TNS, and on the popular heartwarming drama King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo as Yang Mi-Sun the love interest of Kim Tak-Goo .Her first lead in a TV Series was Love Can't Wait of the year 2006 together with Hong Kyung Min and with 124 episodes. She won Best Couple Award together with co-star Yoon Si Yoon on King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo.

Lee Young Ah began acting when she was 19 years old. She first appeared in the SBS TV Drama I Love You, My Enemy as well as The Youth in Bare Foot, Golden Apple and Wedding. She also appeared as a cameo appearance in movies such as Ghost Story, Caramel, Two Faces of My Girlfriend and her voice in Dachimawa Lee. Her first lead in a TV series was Love Can't Wait in 2006, wherein she plays as a senior in a girl's school of the age 19 falls in love to a poor college guy who study Law played by Hong Kyung Min.
Her next lead in a drama was Golden Bride in 2007, where Lee plays as a young bride from Vietnam who marries a Korean guy to find her father in Korea and make her mother who is suffering from blindness become happy, her leading man was Song Chang Eui.The Drama had high TV Ratings which caused to add 14-20 more episodes. Before she had her first lead, she also acted in Golden Apple as the young Kyung Sook and was nominated as Best New Actress Award/Best Teen Actress.
In 2008, she was the second female lead in the Drama Iljimae where she played as Bong Soon a funny and silly swindler who is related to the past of the male lead. She's together with co-stars Han Hyo Joo, Lee Joon Ki and Park Si-Hoo. She was also in Empress Chun Chu where she plays as Empress Dae Mok as a young mother.
In 2010, she was again one of the main leads in King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo as Yang Misun. She played the good who falls in love to Tak Gu, and later end up with him too. She sing a song in the series titled Love Is. The series earned high ratings and is also shown in other countries including Philippines, Indonesia and others. She won the Best Couple Award with co-star in King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo with Yoon Si Yoon who plays Kim Tak Gu. In 2006, she appeared in a music video of Eru, Black Glasses together with Kim Hyun Joong her man.
